Education Awareness Grant Program

About this program

The Michigan Architectural Foundation’s Education Awareness Grant Program provides up to $20,000 annually for architecture-related education projects that engage Michigan students age 18 and younger, including K–12 programs and creative initiatives. Eligible applicants may include nonprofit organizations such as public broadcasters, summer camps, libraries, museums, and neighborhood associations. Applicants must submit a proposal summary, project costs, activities, and an explanation of how the project advances MAF’s mission; applications are due April 1, with awards announced annually on May 1. Proposals are evaluated based on architectural education, audience reach, resource leverage, financial need, and anticipated results.
