Manson A. Stewart Undergraduate Award

About this program

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) offers the Manson A. Stewart Undergraduate Award to support sophomore and junior Classics majors at colleges and universities within the CAMWS region. Students must be nominated by a department or program, with no institution submitting more than two nominations annually. Nominees must be declared Classics majors, commit to taking at least two Latin or Greek courses during the award year, and submit an application, brief essay, transcript, and two recommendation letters. Nominations are due January 6, and complete dossiers must reach the award committee chair by January 30; nominators must be current CAMWS members.
