About this program
The National Council on Family Relations offers the Margaret E. Arcus Outstanding Family Life Educator Award to recognize individuals or small collaborator groups whose research, practice, scholarship, program development, training, or policy leadership has significantly advanced family life education. The biennial award includes $1,000, up to $500 in travel support, a plaque, and an invitation to present at the NCFR Annual Conference. Nominees may be at any career stage, need not belong to NCFR or its Family and Community Education Section, and may self-nominate or be nominated by others. Applications are due May 22 and must include a one-page nomination letter, a three- to four-page abbreviated CV, up to two work samples, and no more than three support letters.
