About this program

The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) offers the Marion B. Sulzberger, MD, Memorial Award and Lectureship to recognize significant contributions to understanding clinical medicine through basic research. The selected recipient receives a $10,000 cash award and presents a plenary lecture at the AAD Annual Meeting. Nominees should be actively engaged in clinically important basic investigation, preferably be younger in their careers, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Applications and nominations open January 15 and remain open year-round; submissions received after that date are considered in the following cycle and remain active for five years.
