The Boulder County Arts Alliance offers the Martha Kate Thomas Fund for Artists Grant, providing up to $3,000 to support artists in Boulder County facing financial challenges, particularly those with unforeseen needs, Artists of Color, Artists with disabilities, Indigenous artists, and New generation artists (18-26 years old). The grant aims to alleviate financial burdens, enabling artists to focus on their creative work across various art forms, including music, theater, dance, film/video, literature, and visual art. Eligibility requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, live and work in Boulder County, and belong to one or more of the priority groups; artists may receive two lifetime grants with a two-year gap between funded applications. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with projects to be completed within 14 months of receiving the grant.
