Master's Thesis Award

About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers its Master’s Thesis Award to recognize an outstanding completed thesis addressing sport, exercise, and/or performance psychology. The recipient receives $1,000, waived registration for the AASP Annual Conference, and a plaque presented at the conference. Applicants must be AASP student members during both the application year and the preceding year, and must have completed their thesis between January 1 and December 31, 2025, for the 2026 award cycle. Applications, due April 15, must include a blinded thesis, non-blinded abstract, thesis committee chair/co-chair support letter, and signed thesis cover sheet submitted as PDFs.
