Matching Grant Initiative

About this program

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation offers a Matching Grant Initiative to support community foundations in Northwest Kansas in establishing permanently endowed, unrestricted countywide grant funds and administrative funds. The foundation provides a 100% match up to $50,000 per county for funds raised by local donors, with additional matches for permanent operating endowments and immediate administrative needs. Eligibility is limited to invited countywide community foundations within the 26-county service area of Northwest Kansas, with only one foundation per county permitted to participate. The initiative aims to foster sustainable funding and community growth, with applications open until April 30, 2029.
