Meeting Travel Awards (BSP)

About this program

British Society for Parasitologists (BSP) Meeting Travel Awards provide student members with travel support to attend the Society’s annual Spring Meeting (up to £200) and Autumn Symposium (up to £100), awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of £600 per PhD student (flexible for international PhD students). Eligible applicants are BSP student members who are postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) or have completed studies and are writing up their thesis, and must be presenting a poster or oral presentation; awards are not available to postdoctoral fellows, salaried researchers, or undergraduates. Applications require a supervisor’s statement and must be emailed to the Honorary Treasurer, Prof. Poppy Lamberton (Poppy.Lamberton@Glasgow.ac.uk); successful applicants are informed before the meeting and payments are made by bank transfer after attendance. BSP support must be acknowledged on any talk or poster.
