About this program
The Society of Toxicology (SOT) offers the Mehendale Welcome Award to help international graduate students transition to a new country while beginning biomedical research training, with preference for toxicology programs. Awards provide up to $3,000 and are supported by the Rekha and Harihara Mehendale Welcome Award Fund. Applicants must be moving to another country and accepted into a full-time PhD or two-year master’s program, and must be SOT student members or have a pending membership application. Applications require an acceptance letter, personal statement, two academic recommendation letters, and transcripts; the deadline is May 30, 2027.
