About this program
The American Malacological Society offers the Melbourne R. Carriker Student Research Awards to support student research in malacology, honoring Prof. Carriker; typically 4–6 awards of up to $1,500 are made annually and awardees are encouraged to present results at the AMS annual meeting. Applicants must be students and current members of the AMS, and proposed research must focus on molluscs (institutional overhead is not permitted).
