Mentor Award in Developmental Psychology

About this program

The APA Division 7 Mentor Award in Developmental Psychology recognizes individuals who have made substantial contributions to the field through sustained mentoring, education, and training of emerging scholars. Nominations for the 2027 award are accepted January 1–March 15, 2027, and the recipient will be honored at the APA Annual Convention. Nominees are typically senior scholars with at least 15 years of consistent mentoring experience and must be APA Division 7 members by March 15, 2027. Applications should include a nomination letter, the candidate’s CV, and typically 10 or more letters of support.
