Michelson Prize Application Process

About this program

Found Animals Foundation offers the Michelson Prize and Grants in Reproductive Biology, a $75 million program supporting development of a permanent, single-dose, nonsurgical sterilant for male and female cats and dogs. Applicants must independently or through Michelson Grant funding complete Data Package 1 (DP-1), certify its completion, negotiate and sign a Master Participation Agreement, and submit DP-1 with a $500 application fee. Proposals are evaluated by Found Animals and its Scientific Advisory Board for scientific qualification, facility suitability, and compliance with animal research and quality-assurance policies; applicants must also have signed the Competition Guidelines.
