Minority-led Nonprofit Grants

About this program

The Community Foundation of Greenville offers grants ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 to support minority-led nonprofits in Greenville County, South Carolina, with a focus on breaking down barriers to philanthropic funding for leaders of color. Since 2020, $500,000 has been awarded, with priority given to organizations advancing equity for the Black community, neighborhood-based initiatives, and programs serving students or older adults. Eligibility is limited to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt agencies located within Greenville County, led by people of color and/or serving disadvantaged neighborhoods, that align with the specified priority areas.
