Minority Serving Institution Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers a one-time $1,000 Minority Serving Institution Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant to help defray travel costs for instructors who teach psychology at minority serving institutions to attend STP's in-person Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT). Applicants must be current STP members who will maintain membership through grant receipt and final reporting, teach psychology at a minority serving institution, and intend to attend the in-person ACT conference. Applications require basic demographic information, a proposed travel budget, and disclosure of prior STP travel or conference attendance grants (priority given to those who have not recently received such awards); all reimbursable expenses must follow STP’s Travel Reimbursement Guidelines and recipients must submit a brief 100–200 word report when requesting reimbursement.
