Mishler Brown Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Mishler Brown Fund supports U.S. 501(c)(3) public charities advancing agriculture, conservation, and preservation. Grants fund farming and agricultural education, preservation of historic farms, barns, and equipment, and protection of natural resources; award amounts vary by project scope. Eligible organizations may be based anywhere in the United States and must demonstrate alignment with the fund’s mission; individuals, non-501(c)(3) organizations, fundraising events, lobbying, and political activities are ineligible. Applications are accepted online October 1–December 31, with decisions made in January.
