MSMS Foundation Grant

About this program

The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) Foundation provides grants for Michigan-based nonprofit health education, research, and service projects that advance healthy lifestyles, improve healthcare and patient care, develop physicians and leaders, or engage physicians with communities. Applicants must propose a well-defined project with measurable objectives, a feasible budget and implementation plan, evaluation methods, and strategies for sustaining the work beyond the grant period. Eligible organizations must be formally established, nongovernmental, nonreligious, nonpolitical, nondiscriminatory, and demonstrate direct or indirect benefit to Michigan residents. At least one MSMS physician member must be involved in or sponsor the activity; applications are due May 15 or October 15 and require documentation including 501(c)(3) status, board affiliations, and organizational finances.
