About this program
The Entomological Society of America’s Medical, Urban, and Veterinary Entomology Section offers the MUVE Shripat Kamble Urban Entomology Graduate Student Award to support innovative, feasible doctoral research addressing urban pest biology or control; the award includes a $500 research grant and plaque. Applicants must be doctoral students at accredited U.S. universities, ESA members, and demonstrate an interest in urban entomology excluding turf and ornamental pests. Nomination materials must include a nomination letter, CV, two references, advisor-approved research proposal, transcripts, and must not exceed 20 pages; submissions are due online annually by June 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
