NAS Award in the Neurosciences

About this program

The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) awards the NAS Award in the Neurosciences every three years to recognize extraordinary contributions across neuroscience—including neurochemistry, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology, developmental neuroscience, neuroanatomy, and behavioral and clinical neuroscience—and carries a $25,000 prize. The award is highly prestigious, with past recipients including holders of National Medals of Science, Lasker Awards, and a Nobel Prize.
