National Chemical Technical Professional Award

About this program

Administered by the American Chemical Society’s Committee on Chemical Technical Professionals, the National Chemical Technical Professional Award honors excellence and professionalism among chemical technicians, process operators, laboratory analysts, and other applied chemical technology professionals. The recipient receives $1,000, a plaque, and travel expenses to attend the award luncheon at the ACS Spring meeting. Nominees must be currently employed in an eligible chemical technology role with at least five years of experience; ACS membership is not required. Applications, including a completed nomination form and at least one recommendation letter, are due March 30, 2026.
