NCFR Student Award (SNP)

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) offers the annual NCFR Student Award to recognize a graduate student member who demonstrates academic excellence and strong potential to contribute to Family Science. The recipient receives a $500 cash award and plaque presented at the NCFR Annual Conference. Nominees must be currently enrolled in a graduate program, have work showing promise of significant disciplinary contribution, and have maintained NCFR membership for at least one year and currently; self-nominations are not permitted. Applications require a nomination letter, three recommendation letters, statements addressing a significant Family Science problem and the nominee’s representative work, and are due May 22.
