Needs and Opportunities Grants

About this program

The Valley Community Foundation (VCF) offers Needs and Opportunities Grants ranging from $250 to $10,000 to support innovative programs and urgent needs of local nonprofits in Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton, Connecticut. Funding can be used for virtual programming, capacity building, and technology purchases, but not for past debt or lost revenue. Eligibility is limited to tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) or those with a qualifying fiscal sponsor, with a non-discrimination policy in place. While the application process is currently closed, emergency funding requests can be directed to VCF.
