Neighborhood Grants

About this program

The Columbus Foundation offers Neighborhood Grants to support place-based initiatives that enable residents in Columbus and Franklin County to share in regional growth through economic empowerment and participation in community development. Grants fund comprehensive neighborhood strategies—affordable housing, education and youth programming, resident engagement, health and wellness, beautification, and workforce development—and prioritize efforts that mitigate impacts of historic policies and promote equitable revitalization. Eligible applicants are new and existing nonprofit organizations serving Columbus and Franklin County neighborhoods (hospitals, colleges, and universities are ineligible), with special consideration for projects that empower residents to engage in development decisions.
