New Investigator Award

About this program

The Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) offers the New Investigator Award to support early-career scientists conducting translational research on Angelman syndrome (AS) or developing relevant technologies to advance AS treatments. Funding of up to $150,000 per year for one or two years is available on a rolling basis, with no specific deadline. Eligibility is limited to new primary investigators within their first five years of an academic position at a nonprofit institution, who are committed to full-time research and academia. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) including a project description, budget estimate, preliminary data, and a CV/Biosketch.
