ISSFAL New Investigator Awards

About this program

The International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL) offers New Investigator Awards in conjunction with its biennial congresses to recognize excellence in oral and poster presentations and support early-career researchers’ attendance through a monetary prize for registration and travel expenses. Applicants must be ISSFAL members in good standing, have earned their first postgraduate professional degree within the past five years—or eight years with an eligible career break—and serve as the presenting author of a congress abstract. Candidates apply by selecting the award option in the abstract submission system by March 31; award numbers and amounts vary according to available sponsorship.
