About this program
The American Brain Foundation’s Next Generation Research Grants support innovative brain research by early-career investigators, with funding provided for at least two years. Projects may address a broad spectrum of brain diseases and disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and others. Applicants must be early-career clinical neuroscientists conducting innovative research relevant to brain disease, with additional eligibility requirements to be specified in the application guidelines. Applications for the 2027 grants are expected to open in early July 2026.
