Nicolas Andry Lifetime Achievement Award (ABJS)

About this program

The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons (ABJS) awards the Nicolas Andry Lifetime Achievement Award, a $10,000 prize recognizing individuals whose career body of basic, translational, or clinical musculoskeletal research has substantially advanced orthopaedic knowledge. Nominations (one candidate per nominator; self-nomination permitted) must include the nominee’s five most impactful peer‑reviewed papers, a description of principles developed and impact on orthopaedics, the nominee’s current CV, and up to two supporting letters, and must be submitted by email to abjs@abjs.org with the nominee’s consent and ability to meet travel/presentation requirements. The awardee is required to present at the ABJS Annual Meeting (registration waived for the awardee and one guest; ABJS covers coach airfare and two nights’ hotel); nominations for the 2027 award will open in the new year.
