Noel D. Matkin Grants to support educational audiology projects

The Educational Audiology Association (EAA) awards the Noel D. Matkin Grants annually to support small research and non-research projects related to audiology services in educational settings, with awards up to $2,000 available for both travel to present results at EAA conferences. Applicants must be current EAA practitioner or student members and submit proposals by May 1 that include an abstract, detailed project plan, budget documentation, human subjects approval, biographical sketches, and an advisor letter of support. The review panel evaluates applications based on specific objectives, significance, methods, management, facilities, and key personnel using a weighted scoring system. Recipients are required to submit a project report one year after the award and present or publish their results while acknowledging the EAA.
