Nomination Guidelines for LSAC-Sponsored Awards

The American Chemical Society’s Local Section Activities Committee (LSAC) sponsors ChemLuminary Awards recognizing innovative local-section events that provide outstanding service to members and the broader community. Local sections may nominate one eligible event for each LSAC-sponsored award, with nominations due February 15. Self-nominations must describe the event’s innovation and service contributions, including attendance, impact on members and nonmember Community Associates, collaboration with another group, successes, and plans for sustainability; local section administration and financial forms must also be completed and approved by the deadline.
