NSS Cave Education Grant

About this program

The National Speleological Society (NSS) offers Education Grants to support initiatives promoting cave and karst education, including educational programs for K–12 students. Grants may be awarded to individuals or institutions, but not for personal education or special projects. Applicants must submit an education-focused proposal aligned with the NSS mission; applications are evaluated based on target audience, educational value, funding need, and mission alignment. Requests are due January 15 and August 15 for consideration in the biannual award rounds, and recipients must provide a completed-project article for possible publication in NSS News.
