One-time Financial Assistance Grants for Professional Musicians

About this program

The Musicians Foundation provides one-time financial assistance grants to professional musicians across genres who encounter unexpected hardships such as medical or dental emergencies, natural disasters, or certain housing crises. Eligible applicants must be U.S. residents who have worked as professional performers, composers/arrangers, or educators in the United States for at least five years and have filed taxes as a musician for five years, and must submit a recent tax return. Applications are submitted via Submittable in a two-part process (Part 1 initial screening, invited Part 2 with documentation), and approved grants are issued as vendorized checks made out to the biller and mailed to the recipient’s home; no deadlines or award amounts are specified.
