Oral Medicine & Pathology Group Prize (BSODR)

About this program

The British Society for Oral and Dental Research (BSODR) Oral Medicine & Pathology Group awards a £250 Oral Presentation Prize to the highest‑scoring oral presentation at the BSODR Annual Meeting, with certificates for notable commendations; winners are announced at the event and prize payment follows submission of a report outlining intended use. Eligibility is limited to early career researchers within five years of their PhD or postgraduate students who are the first author and presenter of an original basic‑science, translational/clinical or quality‑improvement study, must be fully paid BSODR/IADR members, have carried out the work while affiliated to a UK university, and have contributed at least 75% to the study. Applicants must submit a 300‑word abstract via the meeting abstract submission site using their own email (only one BSODR prize entry per calendar year); confirmation of receipt is expected within 10 working days and the BSODR OMPG Council may amend, divide, or withhold prizes at its discretion.
