ORS ISFR Interdisciplinary Academic Exchange Grant

About this program

Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) International Section of Fracture Repair (ISFR) offers a $5,000 Interdisciplinary Academic Exchange Grant to fund an ORS ISFR member’s visit to a research lab for collaboration and exchange of methodologies in fracture repair and/or bone regeneration. The single award covers travel, accommodation, and living costs for a minimum two‑week exchange (single or multiple visits); multidisciplinary projects and international hosts are encouraged. Applicants must be ORS and ORS ISFR members in good standing; all career stages may apply with priority for junior/mid‑career investigators, and submissions must include a 2‑page visit letter, 2‑page biosketch, host support letter, and detailed budget. Applications are due January 12, 2026, will be peer‑reviewed by the ISFR Awards Committee, and recipients must submit a brief report and are encouraged to present at ISFR 2026.
