OSME Youth Development Fund Travel Bursary

About this program

OSME offers a Youth Development Fund travel bursary of up to £300 to help aspiring researchers and conservationists attend conferences, seminars or workshops (domestic or abroad), covering bus/train travel, conference fees, accommodation and subsistence but excluding flights, visas, equipment and personal salary. Applicants must be residents of OSME-region countries aged 16–30 who have previously participated in an OSME-funded Youth Development project and must explain how the event links to their studies, work or volunteer commitments and will contribute to learning, upskilling and networking. Prospective applicants should contact the OSME Youth Development Officer (youthdevelopment@osme.org) before submitting an application; invitations to apply depend on available funds, decisions are usually made within four weeks, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis according to event timing.
