About this program

American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS) offers Outcomes Research Awards to fund single- or multi-center studies from established centers with extended patch test series that assess the value of specialist evaluation and management of chronic dermatitis. Grants of $10,000–$50,000 are awarded for up to 24 months, paid in two installments, with results expected to be submitted for publication in Dermatitis and an interim oral report at the ACDS Annual Meeting; final report due within two years to receive the second payment. Eligible applicants are investigators at established centers able to complete the project in their institution; awards may not pay salary for established investigators and no indirect costs are allowed. Applications (≤10 pages plus budget and a Signed Agreements page) must document IRB status, disclose other/current or pending funding, list visa status for non‑US investigators, and include required institutional assurances and an indemnification clause; recurring annual submission deadline is October 15.
