Outstanding Doctoral Student and New Professional Paper/Publication Award

The National Council on Family Relations’ Families and Health Section offers the Outstanding Doctoral Student and New Professional Paper/Publication Award to recognize exceptional scholarly research, professional reviews, theoretical work, or methodological contributions. The recipient receives $200, one year of Families and Health Section membership, and a plaque presented at the NCFR Annual Conference. Applicants must be current NCFR and Families and Health Section members who are doctoral students in a relevant discipline or new professionals with fewer than five years of field experience. Submissions must include one scholarly paper in APA or publisher format, with co-authored papers requiring a statement of the applicant’s contribution; applications are due May 22.
