Outstanding Graduate Horticulture Student Award

About this program

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) offers the Outstanding Graduate Horticulture Student Award to recognize exceptional master’s and doctoral students in horticulture. Honorees receive a certificate at the annual conference and recognition in ASHS publications and online announcements. Eligible students must be enrolled in a horticulture or plant/crop science program with a horticulture emphasis, be ASHS members, and demonstrate strong academic achievement, research, leadership, participation, and service. Nominations must come from a department head or designee, are limited to one student per institution, and must be submitted with a photo and achievements summary by March 25.
