About this program
The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) offers the Outstanding Student Chapter Award to recognize the student chapter demonstrating exceptional performance during the preceding academic year. The winning chapter receives a certificate, cash award, and Annual Meeting registration for up to two student representatives; two runners-up receive certificates and smaller cash awards. Eligible applicants are AEG student chapters that submit an annual activity report or equivalent report to AEG Headquarters by June 30. Applications are evaluated on chapter meetings, field trips, membership growth, outreach, fundraising, scholarship participation, and engagement with AEG activities.
