P-IE Master’s Student Achievement in Entomology Award

About this program

The Entomological Society of America’s Plant-Insect Ecosystems (P-IE) Section offers the Master’s Student Achievement in Entomology Award to recognize outstanding creativity and achievement in entomology research, teaching, and/or outreach. The recipient receives $1,000, a plaque, and complimentary registration for the ESA Annual Meeting, where they must present a paper or poster and attend the P-IE Networking Session. Nominees must be ESA student members affiliated with the P-IE Section and currently enrolled in a master’s program or have completed the degree no earlier than May of the award year. Faculty nominations, due June 1 annually, must include a nomination letter, statements of interests and accomplishments, CV, support letter, and Annual Meeting presentation abstract.
