About this program
The Pennsylvania Bar Foundation offers the PA IOLTA Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) to support attorneys employed at IOLTA-funded legal services organizations in Pennsylvania by helping them manage student loan debt, thereby encouraging continued public service. The program provides full loan forgiveness, including accrued interest, on January 31, 2026, contingent on maintaining eligibility and compliance with the loan agreement. Eligibility is limited to attorneys working at IOLTA-funded legal services organizations in Pennsylvania who must retain eligibility for the entire 12-month period and adhere to all program requirements. The 2025 application period runs from September 1 to October 15.
