Pacific Branch John Henry Comstock Award

About this program

The Entomological Society of America’s Pacific Branch offers the John Henry Comstock Award to recognize an outstanding graduate student in entomology and promote participation in Pacific Branch and ESA Annual Meetings. The recipient must present at the Pacific Branch Meeting and receives an all-expenses-paid trip to the same year’s ESA Annual Meeting, including airfare, hotel, registration, per diem, a $100 cash prize, and a certificate. Nominees must be currently enrolled in a graduate entomology program or have graduated no more than one year before the award presentation. Nominations must include academic and professional records, publications and presentations, activities, a photo, and two letters, submitted as a PDF of no more than 20 pages by December 15 annually at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
