Paleontological Society Outreach and Education Grant

About this program

The Paleontological Society offers Outreach and Education Grants of up to $2,500 to support member-led programs in paleontology education and community engagement, including field trips, educator training, curriculum and material development, and digital outreach. Projects involving undergraduate outreach, educational technologies, or broadly distributable resources are especially encouraged. Applicants must be Paleontological Society members; graduate students must document an eligible professional advisor, and prior awardees must wait one year and complete their final report before reapplying. Applications are due March 2 and must include a 3–5-page proposal, itemized budget without indirect costs, and one-page CVs for project personnel.
