Pearl Moore "Making a Difference" Awards

The Oncology Nursing Society sponsors the Pearl Moore “Making a Difference” Awards to recognize individuals and small teams who significantly impact the lives of patients with cancer and their families and to honor emerging local and regional oncology nurse leaders. Categories include Frontline Care, Team Achievement, and Emerging Leader; winners receive a $500 cash prize, a desktop award, and travel reimbursement to attend the annual ONS Congress®. Entry is by nomination—nominations open in the spring with submissions due September 30 (year not specified)—and eligibility is limited to oncology nurses and small teams demonstrating exceptional evidence-based patient care or leadership at the local/regional level.
