About this program
The Osteo Science Foundation offers the Peter Geistlich Research Awards, its most competitive program, to support clinically relevant basic and applied research on hard- and soft-tissue regeneration in oral and cranio-maxillofacial surgery. Awards provide up to $50,000 annually for one or two years, with a maximum total of $100,000 including indirect costs capped at 10%, for project-related expenses. Applicants must be innovative researchers or clinicians conducting all research in the United States or Canada, and each proposal must include an affiliated oral and maxillofacial surgeon contributing at least 10% effort. A short proposal is due December 1, with invited applicants submitting full applications by May 1.
