Peter Horlock Skills Training and Development Award 2025/26

The Medical Research Foundation and UK PET Chemistry offer the Peter Horlock Skills Training and Development Award 2025/26 to fund travel and subsistence for skills, training and development activities in PET radiochemistry (e.g., visits to centres of excellence or specialist conferences), with awards up to £3,000 for activities up to one year. Eligible applicants are UK‑based technical staff employed at a UK academic or NHS institution and engaged in PET radiochemistry or associated technology/engineering at a UK not‑for‑profit PET centre undertaking or planning PET‑based clinical research, typically at an early stage of career development. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via the Foundation’s grants management system, assessed on merit by the UK PET Chem Advisory Committee, and only one application per lead applicant is permitted under standard Foundation terms.
