The Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ASCC) presents the Peter Strasser Award to the best overall workshop at its Annual Conference, recognizing sessions that actively involve the entire audience and educate them on innovative technologies relevant to the cosmetic and personal‑care industry. Eligible formats include lab‑focused workshops (preferred) as well as packaging, microbiology, equipment demonstrations, salon demonstrations, makeup application and other interactive designs. Presenters must submit a written, formal paper prior to the conference (slides or PowerPoint alone are not acceptable), and workshops are judged by participants using a questionnaire that scores Technical Content (5), Audience Involvement and Takeaways (5), Importance/Relevance to the Industry (4), Use of Visual Aids (3) and Presentation (3); the highest aggregated score wins. No monetary prize is specified for the award.
