PGF Regional Event Funding (Postgraduate Forum Regional Event Funding)

About this program

The British Sociological Association’s Postgraduate Forum offers Regional Event Funding of up to £1,000 to support one-day postgraduate events across the UK, covering room hire, speaker travel and accommodation, catering and administrative costs, with the BSA providing promotional assistance. Funding cannot be used for speaker fees, gifts, or purchasing equipment/technology; organisers are expected to use institutional facilities where possible and to seek host contributions or charge attendance if costs exceed the award. Eligible applicants are postgraduate organisers coordinating one-day events with speakers and the BSA, and successful applicants must submit a short post-event report detailing expenditure (cost breakdown), feedback and final attendance figures.
