About this program

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards twenty Graduate Research Grants of up to $1,500 to active members enrolled in graduate school to fund research that supports career development and professional advancement. Applicants must be active (dues current) members or have accepted membership by Nov. 30, 2026, be currently enrolled in a graduate program, and be conducting or presenting research between Jan. 1 and Aug. 31, 2027; prior Graduate Research Grant or Dissertation Fellowship recipients, current Phi Kappa Phi Fellows, and certain Society officers or employees are ineligible. Applications are submitted through the online portal from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, 2026, and recipients will be notified by Feb. 15, 2027; selection is based on rationale, professional and field impact, public benefit, and proposed budget.
