About this program
The Osteo Science Foundation offers the Philip J. Boyne Research Awards to support clinically relevant research advancing hard and soft tissue regeneration in oral and craniomaxillofacial surgery. Awards provide up to $25,000 annually for one or two years, with a maximum of $50,000 inclusive of indirect costs capped at 10%. Applicants must be junior faculty within 10 years of their first full-time faculty appointment in a full-time, CODA/CDAC-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program in the United States or Canada, and must have a senior mentor. Applications are accepted October 1–December 1, with all research conducted in the United States or Canada.
