Pierre & Patricia Bikai Fellowship (ACOR)

About this program

The American Center of Research (ACOR) offers the Pierre & Patricia Bikai Fellowship to support graduate students’ archaeological research and post-field residency at ACOR in Jordan by providing room and board plus a stipend of $800 per month. Awards fund one student for two months or two students for one month; residency at the ACOR center is required, the fellowship is intended for continued study or research after a field project (not for fieldwork), and must be used between May 1 of the award year and April 30 of the following year. Eligible applicants are enrolled graduate students of any nationality except Jordanian citizens. Applications are due February 15 annually (notifications in April) and must include a completed application form, academic review or proof of institutional/project acceptance, a project proposal (up to 2,000 words), transcripts, and one recommendation.
