Planning and Technical Assistance Grant Program

About this program

Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation’s Planning and Technical Assistance Grant Program provides up to $5,000 for nonprofit capacity-building projects, with grants up to $10,000 available to Berkshire County arts and culture organizations. Funding may support activities such as strategic planning, governance development, organizational assessments, staff training, and technology implementation that strengthen long-term effectiveness and mission impact. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or fiscally sponsored projects based in and serving Berkshire County or northwest Litchfield County, with priority for organizations whose budgets are under $1 million and whose needs fall outside other area fund cycles. Applications are due February 15, 2027; projects must be approved by the applicant’s board and may not be retroactive or used directly for fundraising.
